Glow worm walk and bat night out on 26th November
Join us for a fun night out to celebrate the launch of our new walkway. Bring a picnic tea from 6pm or join us at 8pm. We will take a stroll along the new walkway looking out for glow worms and becoming 'bat detectors'. Join the Purangi Kiwi Project team on a guided walk of the Otunahe Scenic Reserve as part of the New Plymouth District Council Summer guided walks programme. A forest rich in biodiversity and many native birds this hill country circuit track passes through paddocks, pines and native bush including towering rimu. UPDATE: 19th January 2017: Due to the current weather forecast for Sunday 22nd January we have decided to cancel this guided walk. But when the weather finally does settle... An exclusive London event, in the Penthouse Suite New Zealand House, raising money to support the ongoing protection of kiwi.
