The Trust with its excellent track record now needs to develop long-term corporate support and financial backing in order to maintain effective programmes for the sustainable future of kiwi and other threatened species, such as the Kokako.

For you to receive the maximum benefit from your sponsorship we recommend a multi-year commitment for long-term social investment. This gives you the ability to build your profile as a key supporter of the Project and maximise the return on investment the sponsorship provides. There are a number of opportunities for a Company to support the Trust. We know some organisations are smaller so we have tailored a number of fantastic opportunities under our supporter level where you can contribute starting from $250 a year.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

This project is one of the largest volunteer driven environment schemes in New Zealand, the Project is administered by the East Taranaki Environment Trust, a registered Charitable Trust which has IRD donee status. This is one of the two priority sites for the survival of western North Island brown kiwi. We are now introducing kokako to the region. The goal is to have a sustainable wild population of both kiwi and kokako.

This is an opportunity to make a difference to these iconic species by providing a place for kiwi to thrive and helping to develop a sustainable kokako population.
